Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ahamed Kameel Mydin Meera obtained a magna cum laude Ph.D. degree (Finance) from the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, U.S.A. in 1996. His undergraduate and Masters Degrees were in Economics, from the International Islamic University Malaysia. His wide areas of interest and expertise include Finance, Islamic Banking, Financial Markets, Investment Analysis, Macro-Economics, Economics of Social Issues and Quantitative Methods. He has extensive experience in teaching, training, consulting and research in the above areas. His works have been published in reputed local and international journals. He is known for his writings on the concept of money and payment systems, particularly the importance of gold-backing of currencies; the gold dinar in the case of Islamic economics. He is also the founding Chairman of the Movement of Monetary Justice Malaysia (MMJ) that strives to bring about the needed monetary reform in Malaysia and elsewhere in order to bring about inclusiveness, fairness, stability and sustainable socio-economic development. Currently Prof. Ahamed Kameel Mydin Meera is the Vice-President of WAQAFA International Sdn. Bhd. which is dedicated to the promotion of Ubaid Waqf Economy Model, which a unique way of utilizing waqf to empower businesses and individuals in the economy. Prof Ahamed Kameel opines that this model will enable Muslims to achieve that pristine Islamic Economic system that has been the desire of Muslim since the Islamic revival that began in the late 1960s. He is also an adviser to Z Consulting Group Sdn. Bhd. (ZCG), based in Kuala Lumpur, which is an independent provider of multidisciplinary research, analysis and consultancy in Inclusive Wealth and Sustainable Socio-Economic Development. ZCG works with clients to research, develop, implement and evaluate public policies, projects and private initiatives from the Inclusive Wealth perspective. Prof. Ahamed Kameel Mydin Meera is the author of the books The Islamic Gold Dinar and The Theft of Nations, both published by Pelanduk Publications and Real Money published by the International Islamic University Malaysia. Prof. Ahamed Kameel Mydin Meera had also served as the Dean, Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Dean of the Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance, International Islamic University Malaysia.

Over thirty years of various organisational experience in effective leading, managing and supervising at various levels, with multiple success in establishing new departments and agency for UPM and Ministry of Transport, Malaysia. Razali is a Director of Centre for Management of Wakaf, Zakat and Endowment, UPM. Under Centre of Management for Wakaf, Zakat and Endowment (WAZAN), he successfully collected more than one million-ringgit (RM1mil) over a period of only one (1) month, through innovative management of counter service for zakat collection in December 2018. WAZAN’s Model has been referred to and benchmarked by various local and foreign organizations as an example of effective and successful model for waqf, zakat, endowment and giving management. Amongst them are the twenty public universities in Malaysia, Majlis Daerah Hulu Selangor (MDHS), Yayasan Ibnu Hayyan, Universitas Air Langga, Indonesia and Universititas Muhamadiah, Medan, Indonesia.

He was born in Johor Bahru and lived in Kulai, Johor for the past 22 years. His first job was with MOCCIS Trading a cooperative located in Damansara where under the coach YBhg Tun Arshad Ayub, Chairman of this cooperative. He then continued his studies and graduated from ADBS Human resource management at UiTM Shah Alam in 1994. He then served as the Head of the distance learning unit specifically handling professional courses such as ICSA and CACA at IPPJ, Johor Corporation. His interest in handling human resources made him further his studies in the master’s degree in Human Resource Development and graduated in 2004. Currently he leads 2 companies namely Coldwind M&E Sdn Bhd (Mechanical Engineering) and ABK Resources Sdn Bhd. Accounting & Taxation Company. He used to be a part-time lecturer at the Open university and also a board member of IMAN ELC Sdn Bhd (Baby Care / Kindergarten) and Hidayah Education Center (integrated school) in Johor with more than 1500 students. The surge in his profession when he operated the GEMS (Graduate Employability Management Scheme) program throughout Malaysia and became the Head of branch operations. Indirectly he conducts certain courses and branch operations. At this time he is conducting certain courses under the consultants in kuala lumpur independently. He has his own business venture which is the manufacture of herbal juices based on raw Tualang honey and selected herbs namely JUS ASA 121. His specializations more on training needs analysis, training design, Human capital & organizational development, workshop design, training presentation and human resource management. He is registered as qualified trainer under HRDF (Human Resource Development Fund) and a member of Malaysia Human Resource Management (MHRM). His personality type is helper. He needs to love and feel loved. He is the most trustworthy of all types and his naturally helping others. His fear being appreciated and he often overcompensate by giving more of himself. He is naturally humble and his thrive on others noticing his good deeds. All he needs is a little appreciation and his potential to helps others is endless. He is a natural saint with deep emotional intelligence. He also tried to see the good in every situation. Nothing can scare him despite having gone through various experiences over the years. He just stood firm and went on living. His confidence never wavered.

Position: Business Director (Waqf Blockchain) Reported to the CEO and led the Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Research team in the empowering the community with Islamic Social Financing, viz Waqf Administration, Management & Development in establishing alliances and collaboration with Islamic Councils, NGOs and Financial Institutions in Malaysia, Qatar, Oman, Morocco, Turkey, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand aligning with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals and Malaysia’s Shared Prosperity Vision 2030. Advise on compliances and legal matters. Keynote Speaker, Facilitator and Presenter at Conferences, Forums, Workshops and Seminars in Malaysia, Qatar, Oman, Morocco and Thailand on Fintech, Blockchain, Islamic Social Financing and Sustainability matters. 2014 – 2018 : Zilzar Group Sdn. Bhd. Position: Director & Vice President, Legal Affairs & Compliance Reported to the CEO and BOD in providing accurate and practical advice to the Group and subsidiaries on all legal aspects relating to Halal E-commerce products and services. Well versed in legal documentations, vetting and opinion writing. 2003-2006 : PERKIM Position: Secretary General Reported directly to the President at the National and State levels implementing and revitalizing and rejuvenating activities and policies. Planned, implemented and deployed collaterals through multi-lingual pamphlets for Masjid Tour Program currently distributed in 13 Masjids in Malaysia.
